The Bon Accord Rotary Club are encouraging all cyclists; young & old; first-timers and experienced; individuals, families & teams; to participate in a bike ride to raise funds for our nominated charities and have a fun day out.

The Bon Accord Bike Ride was conceived in 2005 in celebration of the Centenary of Rotary and following the success of the inaugural event in May 2005, the event is now held annually. The club is hoping to continue this as an annual family event for many years to come.

We have selected two routes: one in close proximity to Hazlehead Park for younger participants and those less experienced, and a longer more challenging route meandering through picturesque Deeside for those wanting to spend a bit more time in the saddle. Please note that a short 500m section of the longer route is on a rough track which may be unsuitable for high performance racing bikes.

Every cyclist participating in the Bike Ride will receive a momento of the occasion donated by our sponsors, and prizes will be awarded for the individuals and teams raising the most sponsorship.
